With her latest release, What’s Your Rashee? she has had an incredible task of delivering 12 avatars in one movie and such is her impact in the movie that here at Planet Bollywood, as part of our new series “Dus Gaane" Compilations, we decided to honor her performance with a list of the 10 best songs she has featured in (in terms of melody as well as song picturization).

Note only one song is allowed from each movie! The process of selecting the songs is entirely subjective and should not be taken in a negative context. Indeed it was very difficult to arrive at the list for her since she has done a variety of roles and has swayed to some very good music. Remember this is just our way of keeping her past numbers fresh in everyone’s memories …Enjoy!

3. You Get Me Rocking & Reeling - Billu (2009) – Singer: Neeraj Shridhar. Music By: Pritam. Watch Priyanka moving to the rhythm along with Shahrukh and you will know why this made our top-list. In fact Shahrukh had said in an interview that when he heard that song he could just see Priyanka moving to the rhythm in his head – she was a perfect choice for this sultry number!

2. Aaj Ki Raat - Don (2006) – Singers: Alisha Chinoy, Mahalakshmi, Sonu Nigam. Music By: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. The standout number in the Don-remake-by-Farhan Akhtar was picturized on Shahrukh and Esha Koppikar along with our Priyanka. All 3 of them gyrated beautifully to this groovy number that is still sung in fun gatherings. Notice how Alisha kicks the song at a very low key and the tempo builds up from there.

1. Desi Girl - Dostana (2008) – Singers: Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan. Music By: Vishal-Shekhar. This track was all about Priyanka and turned out to be a super hit song thanks to the catchy music, some superb dance steps by the choreographer and Priyanka’s amazing performance! It also rank as one of her hottest numbers thanks to her make-up artist and costume designer both of whom did a tremendous job to made her look ethereal…you can’t take your eyes off her! That’s the impact of our “desi girl”!!!
