Over the years in celluloid in Hindi film industry, the hero in the film has been main selling point at box office. The machismo connected with a hero is attractive and addictive. The first scene of hero entering in the film meets with lots of whistles and cheers from the fans in cinema halls. Some of the fans throw money at screen or dance on entry scene of a hero. Each punchline of the hero is cheered. The film makers have tried to make grand entry for their heroes in the films.

It was actors like Late Devanand and Late Raaj Kumar who brought style to the screen were first beneficiaries by film makers for interesting entry scenes for them in their film. Later Amitabh Bachan and Dharmendra followed the suit. Down south, it was Rajnikanth who popularized this trend. The entry scene of the hero belongs to the fans. Today movies have changed dramatically and it has become more realistic. The popular cinema has been fading slowly. In future, we may not get to see same kind of stardom for heroes like olden times. Salman Khan for me is the last real popular superstar for Hindi film industry.

Salman Khan Films recently had grand entry scenes for him in his films for enjoyment of his fans. In his first film as hero in 'Maine Pyar Kiya', his entry scene is car race with his dad. He is wearing a leather jacket, friendship cap and drinking thums up during the race. He has played innocent characters in films helmed by Sooraj Barjatya. His screen name Prem has been synonym to him with these characters.

In 'Hum Aap Ke Hai Koun', his entry scene is playing cricket, where he is bowling wearing orange t-shirt and sports cap. He cleans bowl the wickets of other character played by Late Laxmikant Berde. He has looked so handsome. Today actors can't match to his looks and personality. In 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', he again looks very dashing wearing long jacket and briefcase in his hand entering his home with ensemble cast. In 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo', he enters with a back shot in a song in a Nautanki.

'Pyar Kiya Tho Darna Kiya' entry scene was song 'O O Jaane Jaana', where he went shirtless for full song with his perfectly chiseled body captulated him to superstardom. Recently he has done lot of action films, which has given chances of more dramatic entries to him at first scene in the film. Dabangg & Dabangg2 had superlative entry scene for him to go for the action. His character Chulbul Pandey is a corrupt police officer. The character has styles and punchlines for fans to get highly entertained. In both the films, he comes to villain den with his jeep but from opposite directions. For me Chulbul Pandey is more entertaining than Prem.

In 'Ek Tha Tiger', he had interesting entry scene. The director Kabir Khan was creative in this and the hero Salman Khan enters in puff of cigarette ashes. In Jai Ho, it was proper Salman Khan Entry, where you see his hands first playing with his turquoise braclet and wearing it. In Sultan, it was best entry scene for Salman Khan Film. You are only seeing back shots of him getting ready for the wrestling match for around 30 seconds before they show him. It increases the excitement level of the fans. We expect a more impactful entry scene for Salman Khan upcoming film 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. The film is directed by film maker Ali Abbas Zafar who made 'Sultan'. The machismo of hero enthralls the fans.
