Maniesh Paul turns a year older today and the anchor-actor kickstarted his birthday celebrations by bringing tons of happiness and putting a smile on the faces of Smile Foundation Kids.

The multifaceted anchor-turned-actor may not spell it out but Maniesh is a philanthropist and often associates himself with several causes, and this year, Maniesh wanted to make his birthday special by doing something for others. So, Maniesh teamed up with the national level NGO – Smile Foundation in Mumbai and celebrated his birthday with the underprivileged children of the NGO.

Maniesh cut his birthday cake with the adorable kids there, who sang their own version of ‘Birthday Song’ for their favourite actor-host. The children, who are a huge fan of Maniesh since the time he played the friendly ghost in the series – Ghost Bana Dost, spoke to him about his inspiring journey and spent hours conversing and playing with him. Before leaving, Maniesh distributed goodies and return gifts among them.

Speaking about the experience, Maniesh said, “This was the best birthday celebration I ever had. These kids showered me with so much love. It was pure bliss. I had lots of fun with them as they sang, danced, played and talked to me about my journey. It was a wonderful experience and I am hoping to spend more time with these lovely kids in future too.”
